Photoshoot Prep
How to prepare for your upcoming photoshoot.
We know prepping for photos can be stressful and time consuming but we have found that by decluttering your home & removing personal items, potential buyers can better envision themselves in the space.
Ensure the home is clean, if necessary vacuum, mop and clean countertops in both the kitchen & bathrooms.
Remove clutter from common areas, kitchen and bathrooms.
Turn on lights.
Turn off any TVs or ceiling fans.
Open blinds & curtains.
The Basics
Kitchen
Remove small items from countertops. (Small appliances, knives, coffee pots etc).
Make sure appliances are clean of smudges & fingerprints.
Remove any dishes from the sink.
Make sure dining room table is clean.
Straighten table & chairs if necessary.
Remove any high chairs or booster seats.
Dining Room
Remove clutter from space, photos, remotes etc.
Ensure mantel is clear of photos (if applicable).
Fluff pillows & cushions.
Living Room
Clean countertops
Remove toothbrushes, hair products, soap etc.
Remove bottles, razors from showers
Remove bath mats, any dirty laundry.
Bathrooms
Furry Friends
Make sure food & water bowls are out of sight.
Remove crates or dog beds.
Remove any pet toys.
Remove any pictures
Make beds and fluff pillows.
Remove clutter from nightstands or dressers.
Bedrooms
Remove any vehicles in driveway or in front of home. Close garage door.
Ensure grass has been mowed
Tidy up any landscaping.
Exterior
Clean front/back porch. Tidy any exterior furniture.
Clean pool (if applicable).
Hide gardening tools or any outdoors toys
Hide trash cans
Tidy up yard, leaves, branches, outdoors toys etc.
Backyard
